It’s a great honour to receive this award from our former Mayor, Cllr Harry Saville (Harry had planned to present the award earlier this year whilst he was still the Mayor). This award is really for the large team of people behind keeping the pier operational, without them it wouldn’t be possible to keep Llandudno pier operating. I also would like to thank Alison (my wife) who is not only my backbone, but behind the scenes spends nearly every day helping to run the pier.
Llandudno Pier is not our normal business, decisions are not purely based on profits, as a family we spend a great deal of time contemplating what we do, not just makes business sense but is right for the pier and the town. We also have a great deal of pride towards Llandudno town, doing what ever we can to help support its future prosperity. Hopefully my family will be able to safeguard the future of Llandudno Pier for generations to come.
